Benefits information should be reachable by everyone who needs it, however they use the web.
We are working toward WCAG 2.1 Level AA
AIS Multi Insurance is committed to making https://aisinsuranceinc.com and the AIS client portal usable by as many people as possible, including people who use screen readers, magnification, speech input, keyboard-only navigation or assistive devices.
Our target is conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. We consider accessibility during design and development rather than as a retrofit, and we review pages as we add or change them. We consider this site partially conformant: most of the site meets the standard, and where we find gaps we fix them on a prioritised schedule.
Accessibility is not a project with an end date. If something on this site gets in your way, we want to hear about it – that feedback is the fastest route to a fix.

Our accessibility measures
Semantic structure
Pages use real headings, landmarks and lists so screen readers can navigate by structure rather than by guesswork.
Keyboard operable
Every menu, form and control can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a skip-to-content link at the top of each page.
Contrast and type
Text and interface colors are chosen to meet WCAG AA contrast ratios, and the layout reflows without horizontal scrolling down to a 320px screen.
Text alternatives
Meaningful images carry alternative text; decorative icons are hidden from assistive technology so they are not read aloud as noise.
Labelled forms
Every field has a visible label, required fields are marked in text as well as color, and errors are described in words next to the field.
Works without JavaScript
Core content and forms are usable when scripts are blocked or fail to load; JavaScript enhances the experience rather than gating it.
Known limitations
Some parts of the benefits experience are outside our direct control, and we want you to know where those boundaries are:
- Carrier documents. Plan booklets, certificates and Summary of Benefits and Coverage documents are produced by insurance carriers as PDFs. Some are not fully tagged for screen readers. Ask us and we will supply the content in another format or read it through with you.
- Third-party enrollment platforms. The enrollment system your employer uses is provided by a third party and follows its own accessibility roadmap. We will help you complete an enrollment by phone or in person if the platform is a barrier.
- Older uploaded files. Documents added before our current standards may not meet them. We remediate on request and as we refresh them.

Nobody should miss a benefits deadline because of a web page. Every task you can do on this site can also be done with a person:

- Enroll or make a change with an advisor, in person or over the phone
- Receive plan information in large print or another accessible format on request
- Arrange a worksite or evening appointment if that is easier for you
- Send documents by fax to 281-769-1168 or by mail to our Katy office
Report an accessibility issue
If you encounter a barrier on this site or in the client portal, contact us and describe what happened. It helps if you can tell us the page address, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology you were using – but please get in touch even if you cannot.
We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within two business days and to tell you what we can do about it, including any interim workaround, at the same time.
